André Rösler studied design at the Fachhochschule für Gestaltung Pforzheim, and after earning his degree in 1997 Diplom-Designer (FH) he worked there as an assistant. He is co-founder of mal4 - Bürogemeinschaft für Gestaltung in Karlsruhe, and has worked as a freelance illustrator and designer since 1996. In 1999, he became involved in making and directing animation films for Anschi und Karl-Heinz, a children's television program aired weekly. André Rösler illustrated several picture books for the Peter Hammer Publishing House. His work was awarded with several design prices, among them the ADC-Preis (Art-Directors Club Deutschland) for his illustrations in a book entitled "Gutes Benehmen im Galopp".
