Born in the United States, Dan Reynolds decided to become a typeface designer after his first visit to Mainz, Germany. During the day, His works at Linotype GmbH as their content editor. In the evenings he does things like help organize the Offenbach Typostammtisch (which he co-founded in 2004), moderate at Typophile.com, and contribute to the German type magazine Slanted. Dan is a member of the ATypI and holds a BFA degree in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design (US) and an MA in Typeface Design from the University of Reading (UK). He also studied briefly at the HfG Offenbach (Germany), where he first set up his blog (http://www.typeoff.de).
