Boris Kahl (Dipl. Des.) is art director at MAGMA Brand Design GmbH & Co. KG since 2001. Beside the daily work, he manages the font label Volcano Type and designed in the last years some fonts for it. As co-founder of the German weblog Slanted, he also takes part at the printed Slanted magazine. Since 2008, he is art director of the type calendar "Typodarium".
