Ostblock Regular

OSTBLOCK is a OpenType font containing 5 additional stylistic sets. These stylistic sets let you easily build 3-dimensional letter-buildings. The idea for this typeface already goes back a few years. It is inspired by the apartment living blocks in the center of East Berlin built in the 60s.From a bird’s eye view these blocks of concrete sometimes look like letters. With the help of OpenType technology all the layers for the letters comfortably fit in one easy-to-use font file. OSTBLOCKS comes with kerning and a full Western and Central European language support, including Baltic and Turkish.
